Over its existence, several factions formed and reformed (see Alexander 1982, 254–258):

+ 1920 — Aliancistas and Unionistas
+ 1930 — United Liberal Party (PLU) // during Ibanez regime
+ 1931 — (new) Liberal Party (PL) // after Ibanez regime
+ 1933 — (new) Liberal Party (PL) // during Alessandri regime
